Here are a few examples:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tourist visa :<\/strong> for people travelling to Russia for holidays or tourist activities.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Business visa :<\/strong> for those travelling on business, whether for meetings, conferences or other work-related events.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Private visa :<\/strong> designed for people who want to visit friends or family living in Russia.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Humanitarian visa :<\/strong> granted to individuals taking part in cultural, sporting, religious or charitable activities in Russia.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Work visa :<\/strong> for those who have found a job in Russia and need a visa to work there legally.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Student visa :<\/strong> issued to students enrolled in a Russian educational institution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What is the unified e-visa?<\/h2>\n<p>The unified e-visa is a type of electronic visa that allows its holder to visit the Russian Federation without having to go to a visa office. <a href=\"\/en\/article\/embassy\/\">the embassy or consulate to obtain a traditional visa<\/a>. It was set up to facilitate the administrative procedures involved in obtaining a visa, reduce costs and encourage tourism.<\/p>\n<h3>The advantages of the unified e-visa<\/h3>\n<p>The unified e-visa offers a number of advantages over traditional visas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Easy to obtain :<\/strong> Simply complete an online form and pay the associated fees to receive your e-visa by e-mail.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Time saving :<\/strong> you don't have to go to the embassy or consulate, or queue for hours to get your visa.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reduced cost :<\/strong> processing fees are generally lower than those for a traditional visa.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Validity :<\/strong> The unified e-visa is valid for 60 days from the date of issue and allows a maximum stay of 16 days in Russia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Am I eligible for a unified e-visa?<\/h2>\n<p>To be eligible for the unified e-visa, you must meet certain conditions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be a national of one of the countries eligible for the programme (<a href=\"\/en\/\">the full list on our home page<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li>Have a valid passport with an expiry date at least six months after the planned end of your stay in Russia.<\/li>\n<li>Not intend to work permanently, study or carry out journalistic activities in Russia.<\/li>\n<li>Provide a recent digital passport photo.<\/li>\n<li>You must have health insurance for the duration of your stay in Russia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is important to note that the unified e-visa <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">covers the whole of Russia<\/span>but by entering via certain eligible points.
