These documents will be requested once the form has been completed and paid for. Documents need only be legibleso that we can compare them with your manually entered data. All documents must be sent to us once the form has been completed via the secure link indicated in the confirmation email.

  • Contact details foraccommodation (no voucher required)
  • A passport valid for at least 6 months at the time of application
  • A passport photoin any format
  • A travel insurance repatriation + medical expenses

Passport

A scan of the identity pages of your valid passport (the one used for your trip to Russia). This consists of the left-hand page of the passport with your personal details AND the right-hand page containing your signature. The photocopy must be in colour.

⚠️ Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of your e-visa application for Russia. This cannot be an emergency green passport, nor a diplomatic passport. We strongly advise you to leave a space for the stamps that will be applied when you cross the border into Russia.

Passport photo

A colour, high-definition scan of an ID photo, ideally complying with passport photo standards: the photo must be clear, with no creases or marks. The background must be plain white or blue.

The photo should be neither over- nor underexposed. It should have good contrast, with no shadows on the face or in the background. It can be square or rectangularPassport photos must be recent and resemble the passport photo. Religious attributes are permitted as long as they do not cover the face.

  • certificate of residence insuranceAn insurance policy, in any language, signed and stamped, is required on arrival for each traveller. It must cover the dates of stay, indicate the benefits (minimum: repatriation and expenses up to 35,000$/person), the contact details of the insurer in Russia, the contract number and the traveller's full name as shown in the passport.
  • if your stay in Russia exceeds 7 working days, you must register at the Russian immigration office in one of the cities on your trip. In most cases, the hotel will do this automatically (to be confirmed). If you are staying in a flat or in a private home, you will need to do this at a post office (Pochta) and pay a few roubles.
