🎫 Can I get a visa for Russia on the spot?

NoHowever, if you wish to apply for a visa on arrival, you must do so in advance.

⏱ When to apply for an e-Visa for Russia?

You must apply for an e-Visa at least 4 days before your scheduled arrival date in Russia. Once the e-Visa has been issued, you have 60 days to enter Russia. If your arrival is more than a month away, we accept applications but will send you your e-Visa when it becomes available. 

🏥 What is the residence insurance required for travelling in Russia?

Written in any language, signed and stamped, it is requested on arrival for each traveller. It must cover the dates of stay, indicate the services provided (minimum: repatriation and expenses up to 35 000$/person, i.e. approximately 32.512 €), the details of the insurer in Russia, the contract number and the traveller's full name as shown in the passport.

🚸 Does this Russian e-Visa also apply to minors?

The e-Visa also applies to minors. Minors must have their own passport and apply for a standard e-Visa. The e-Visa is free for accompanied children under the age of 6..

🧒 Do I need to apply for an exit permit for my child?

If a minor leaves French territory without a legal guardian, he or she must be in possession of an identity card. AST (authorization to leave the country). This document can be requested online, and must be completed by one of the holders of parental authority. When travelling, this form must be accompanied by a copy of the legal guardian's identity document.

⏳ How long is the Russian e-Visa valid for?

Once the e-Visa has been issued, you have the following options 60 days to enter Russia. From the day of your arrival in the country, your stay must not exceed 16 days (15 nights)

⚠️ What happens if I exceed the initial 16-day period?

If the initial duration of the 16 days will be the subject of a legal proceedings and a inadmissibility for 5 years.

🛂 What documents do I need to present at immigration in Russia?

You will need to present your e-Visa printed in colour, and your passport used to issue the e-Visa. You will also need to present the original copy of your travel medical insurance. 

⏩ Can I extend my Russian e-Visa?

e-Visas cannot be extended.

🤔 Can I travel to Moscow with a Russian e-Visa?

Since 1 January 2021, you can visit the whole of Russia with an e-Visa. The list of entry points shown on the home page must be respected. Visit 4 airports in Moscow are eligible.

💉 What vaccinations are required to travel to Russia?

There are no compulsory vaccinations to travel there. Consult the list of vaccines recommended for certain situations in Russia.

If you discover an error before sending your administrative documents, please indicate the correction to be made by sending these documents.

Beyond that moment, corrections can no longer be applied. We invite you to contact us for more information.

Once the e-Visa has been issued, the data cannot be changed. You will need to submit a new application if your information differs significantly.
